Evesta
Evesta is a small yet bustling medieval-style village, thriving under the protection of Beep and the guidance of Guildmaster Ember. At its heart stands the grand Guild Hall of The Painted Drake, a beacon of adventure, safety, and camaraderie. Adventurers and townsfolk coexist in harmony, and Evesta remains widely regarded as the safest place in all of Demorrah.
That said...
Beep's Garden has gone insane. With every bloom it seems she has woven in more magic, more strangeness, and more "her-ness". Some bite, some whisper, some sing, but all have something decidedly non-floral going on with them. She insists it's safe, and I'm inclined to believe our patron, but is it really safe or necessary to have a bramble with thorns the size of my fist?
Magic, once thinned outside the Guild’s walls, has begun to return in small measure. No one knows if the garden is the cause, but its roots are everywhere now.
Evesta still thrives. But like the Guild itself, Beep always makes things interesting.

The Bell and the Guild (Founding of Evesta)
Guildmaster Ember founded the initial settlement. The Guild Dragon is said to have emerged from an artifact referred to as “the bell.” No known external verification of this claim exists. The structure now known as the Guild Hall was constructed afterward. Population grew via adventurer migration and exiled scholars. The Neutral Ground (Ongoing)
Evesta established reputation as a neutral zone. This status has held through six regime changes on surrounding territories, primarily due to the Dragon's perceived deterrent capacity. Attempts to force alignment have resulted in unexplained setbacks for aggressors. The Garden’s Return (Aftermath of the First Boss Quest)
Following the events of the initial large-scale Guild quest, the internal garden underwent accelerated growth and ontological diversification. Multiple flora now exhibit semi-conscious or reactive behaviors. Guild documentation acknowledges the change but restricts direct study. The Spell Runs Thin (Recent Events)
Magic outside Evesta’s central radius is unreliable. Delays, fizzles, and Weave lapses have been recorded. The cause remains officially undetermined. The Guild Hall and surrounding garden remain unaffected. Reports of temporal dislocation (e.g., the Guild “vanishing”) have not been substantiated but continue to circulate.
